Fonts. We need ‘em, they got ‘em. Some are free, some are for a fee, all have at least a few you’ll like.

  • better fonts offers over 10,000 fonts with a cool feature that lets you select the font you’re interested in, then type in a word or phrase to see what it looks like;
  • font paradise offers a good selection of decorative and headline fonts, but they also offer you the chance to download all 2,800 fonts in one Zip file for only $4.95;
  • FontFace.com has over 1000 free fonts available for Mac and PC platforms. The easiest way to keep track of what’s new is to check out the Font of the Day;
  • dafont.com offers one of the better menus for searching, IMO, offering categories such as ‘Groovy’, ‘Eroded’, ‘Modern’, ‘Alien’ and ‘Sport’; and
  • MyFonts offers a huge selection of fonts as well as some cool tools, like search by keyword and ‘What the Font‘, which lets you upload a file with text and it helps you find what font was used.
